Hour-long presentation on K2 and Joomla 3
On August 14th and 15th, OSTraining hosted an event called Joomla3 Day. During the event, several people from the community did presentations on various aspects of using Joomla.
One of the presentations was an hour-long presentation on the new version of K2 which is now in beta stage. The stable version of K2 v.3 is set for release late September / early October 2014.
In the presentation, Fotis Evangelou, main developer of K2, goes through K2 in general and then goes into detailed explanation of K2 version 3.

J and Beyond 2015 to take place in Prague
The organizer have just announced that the 6th J and Beyond conference will take place from the 29-31 May 2015 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The motto for 2015 is "Golden Times ahead". The early bird ticket price will be only 199 Euro for the three day conference.
