Joomla shares a booth called “CMS Garden” together with 7 other open source content management systems. Last year the shared booth was a great success and this year we hope to continue that...

Joomla! Event Travel Programme launched
Written by Radek Suski
The Joomla! project is proud to announce the Joomla Event Travel Programme (JET), an initiative created to support active project volunteers and community members who have dedicated time and energy to make Joomla better, and who would like to attend larger Joomla events. The recipients of the first JET Programme recognition will have the cost of admission covered to the upcoming J and Beyond Conference on May 30 – June 1, 2014 in Königstein Germany, and will receive assistance with travel and lodging.
We invite anyone to apply who has actively contributed to Joomla through involvement in the community (by contributing code, participating in a translation team or a JUG, organising local events...) and requires financial assistance to attend the J and Beyond event.

We are happy to announce the 1.0 stable release of our EXTman, FILEman and LOGman extensions.
The releases are focussed on stability and do not include any new features. Together with these stable releases we are also ending development on Joomla 1.5. The upcoming 2.0 versions will no longer support Joomla 1.5.
Ending Joomla 1.5 compatibility
Joomla 1.5 was released on January 2008 and lived a happy life for years. But all good things come to an end. The Joomla team stopped supporting Joomla 1.5 on September 2012.

Written by Paulus103
A question that frequently crops up on our ticket and forum systems is “why won't the T3 plug-in install correctly via the joomla installer?” - this problem is frequently due to the hosting file upload limit being set too low.
One solution is to upload an extension via the tmp folder. This article on our knowledgebase looks at how you can utilise this method to install Joomla extensions using the tmp folder.

A new one page responsive Joomla template
Written by Anthony Olsen
I am super excited about our March Joomla template. In the spirit of the Profile template we released last year, I now present you with Profilr. Profilr is all about the big screen. Big video, big gallery, big images ...
It is a stand alone template (no framework required), that comes with some incredible layout options baked right into the template itself. You can easily create full screen slideshows, full screen photoset grids (with built in responsive lightbox) , full width galleries, fullscreen maps and fullscreen background videos.

Sophisticated Magazine Joomla 3 Template
Written by Anthony Olsen
Hub was high on my list of favourite Joomla templates from our back catalogue and so I'm super excited that Hub2 is now available for Joomla3, using T3 and Bootstrap 3. It's also a fully responsive template so it makes a very obvious choice for someone who needs a sophisticated magazine style theme for Joomla 3.
